Farm Living is the Life for Me!

is the place to be!

Doug and I...

purchased some acreage and I'm GIDDY over it!

Part of my younger days were spent growing up on acreage raising and showing quarter horses. I loved it and I still have some of that in my blood. We're not planning on getting any horses, but just owning some land (other than what our house sits on) in never never land makes me feel a little more free. WE HAVE A POND-sooo exciting! We already have some raspberry bushes potted and ready to go (from our backyard) that we plan on taking out to plant. I talked Doug into planting some honeysuckle and I do believe we'll be planting fruit trees, grapes, nut trees and much more!

What a great place to take off and go camping for the weekend. Ahhh...

  1. How exciting! Nothing like owning some dirt. Our dream is to have land West of Lawrence in the valley. Enjoy!

  2. Oh, I'm sooo excited for you! Mmmm, if you're like me you'll end up with a couple of retired horses that need a loving home....oh send pictures, please!!!
