Livin' on a Prayer Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Livin' on a Prayer-Bon Jovi here we come! Tonight is the Bon Jovi concert in Kansas City. There are five of us going and it's going to be a blast from the past! I'm not sure I remember how to fix my hair like it was my senior year of high school so I think I'm going to have to forego the ratted, hairsprayed nest of a do tonight. It kinda looked like Stacy's hair but it was longer and went down to the middle of my back (a picture of Stacy below...whoever Stacy is...I grabbed it off the net). This dress looks a little like my prom dress too. However, mine had a big pink ribbon and bow around the lower waist area (pink...imagine that).

So...we're headed to dinner tonight before the concert. The concert doesn't start til 8:00 pm. Now normally, I'm thinking about bed, Law & Order, CSI, running the next morning or something else besides ROCKIN' OUT so this will be a little out of the norm for us but should be a great time.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow-This weather has been crazy lately. For the last several weeks it has rained while it is bright and sunny out. Now...this is normal for Hawaii but not Kansas. Honolulu was my second home for several years. My mom lived there so I would visit several times a year for weeks at a time. It reminds me of the morning showers they would get from the mountains. I've been searching and searching for a rainbow the past few weeks with the sunny rain we've been getting on occasion and hadn't found one...until today! I saw my rainbow! If only I could hear the sounds of the ocean and IZ's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow but I'll settle for Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer instead.
